Alessandria came to photography by a unique and interesting path. An entertainment attorney in Los Angeles for nearly twenty years, he lost his business as a result of the 2008 financial crisis. He made the decision to amplify his love of photography and turn it into a profession. He first picked up a camera in 2004 and was suddenly captivated. In the next two years, he amassed over 200,000 shots. “If it took a global financial meltdown and mid-life crisis to get here, I’m all for it” he states.

In discussing his passion for photographing, Alessandria says “I make my art first by capturing a photo with my camera and then completing the process with the tools of digital creation. Each of my images speaks to me in a unique and powerful way. By creating art, I experience greater truth and sharper insight.”  He further asserts “I am innately drawn to beauty. I seek out beauty in all the scenes I photograph. I believe in the power of beauty to uplift and transform the viewer through experience.”
