New Beginnings

Leona M Seufert, is a resident of Garwood, New Jersey and is known for her award winning digital collages. “Before 2023 ended I decided I would move back into creating jewelry, which I’ve only sporadically worked on over these last years. What I foresee doing in 2024 is spending time working with all the amazing items I’ve collected over the years. I have dozens of little plastic drawers filled with ‘stuff’, the kind of stuff that will become a springboard to my creativity.” I consider her my jewelry as wearable works of art. The pieces in this virtual exhibit are unique “statement pieces” to be worn by the courageous woman who wants to attract attention.

Seufert serves on the Garwood Partnership for Arts and Culture (GPAC) committee, a committee established in 2023 to promote the arts in Garwood. GPAC’s initiative is to exhibit artwork around town in local businesses.
